Discover Sailing

Whether you’re completely new to sailing or looking to get back on the water, join us for a fun and welcoming day at the club and experience the thrill of sailing at sea.

Our Discover Sailing Day is open to all ages and abilities, offering the perfect opportunity to learn new skills, build confidence on the water, and enjoy a fantastic day by the coast. Experienced sailors will be on hand to guide and support you throughout the day.

What to Expect

• Try single-handed sailing and take control of your own boat
• Experience double-handed sailing with a friend, partner, or fellow participant
• Meet club members and discover everything our sailing community has to offer
• Enjoy refreshments, a BBQ, and a relaxed social atmosphere throughout the day

Sailing Programme

• 09:00 – Clubhouse opens
• 10:40 – Boats launch
• 12:40 – Sailing activities conclude, with all dinghies and safety boats returning ashore

Entertainment & Refreshments

• 09:00 – Complimentary coffee, tea, cake and biscuits
• 11:00 – Bar opens
• 12:00 – BBQ (£5 per person)
• 15:00 – Event begins to wind down
